The connector layer wraps around your production — it doesn't replace it.
Connect over the standards you already use.
Modern JSON API for products, orders and status.
Structured exchange for legacy and modern systems alike.
Punch-out and partner integrations into procurement.
Portable data. EU hosting. No lock-in.
Your products, customers and orders belong to you and can be exported any time. EU hosting and GDPR by default. Docking on means you can also undock — that's the point of a connector.
POST /v1/orders { "product": "brochure-a4", "qty": 5000, "ship_to": "DE-70327", "route": "auto" } → 201 routed to production
One snippet, for the technically curious. You won't need to write code to connect — but it's there if you want it.
Questions about the Connector Layer
Do I have to replace my production system?+
No. PrintSmarter docks onto what you run today — HP PrintOS, HP Site Flow, ctrl-s Symphony and others, treated equally. You keep your production; we wrap the commerce and automation around it.
How long does onboarding take?+
Self-onboarding is designed to get a new connection live within 24 hours. You choose the protocol, map products and endpoints, and the first order can flow the same day — no developer project. New-customer orders are possible within 24 hours.
Do I need developers?+
No. Connections are configured as self-service. The API is fully documented for teams that want to go deeper, but the standard path needs no code.
Who owns the data?+
You do. Products, customers and orders are yours and exportable any time, hosted in the EU under GDPR. No lock-in — docking on means you can undock too.
See your systems dock on — not get torn out.
Bring your production setup; we'll map a connection in the demo. Around 30 minutes.
